Happy to learn that you read Dr Baldev Singh's primer. But unfortunately your attempt is nonacademic as you have tried to justify your stance by comparing philosophy with the life of an individual. This is comparing oranges with apples. Secondly, you have twisted the meaning of Gurbani to suit your agenda. This is against the ethics of academics. Thirdly, Porf Sahib Singh's gurbani teeka is available on Internet and most of the writers base their work on those translations. That's is why while you were pushing your agenda your attempt looks childish. I would strongly recommend you to do INI103H course from University of Toronto to improve your critical writing.
I hope Dr Baldev Singh would be able to write his views on your critique soon although he is in a fragile health these days. But definitely I don't expect the editors to publish your critique without Dr Baldev Singh's comments.
